Why choose linen for your bedroom and home?

Why is flax the greener choice for the planet’s future?

Our home is our safe haven, and the materials we touch every day have a direct effect on how we feel and how well we sleep. Linen has been the king of home textiles for centuries – and for good reason.

Healthy sleep in every season

Linen bedding has unique thermoregulating properties:

  • On hot summer nights: linen quickly absorbs and evaporates moisture (it can absorb up to 20% of its own weight while still feeling dry to the touch), cooling the skin by 3–4 °C.
  • On cold winter nights: air trapped in the tiny gaps between the fibres retains warmth and keeps your body at a comfortable temperature.

Natural protection for sensitive skin

Flax fibres are naturally antiseptic and hypoallergenic. This means bacteria, mould and dust mites do not thrive in linen fabric. It is the best choice for:

  • children and babies;
  • people with sensitive skin, dermatitis or allergies;
  • anyone who values a clean and hygienic environment.
